The Sales Manager serves a key leadership role within Silver Branch Brewing Company. The Sales Manager is primarily focused on growing our total wholesale business and maintaining existing account relationships. Growing total sales with a strong emphasis on account throughput is vital to succeeding in this position. The Sales Manager is also broadly responsible for growing Silver Branch’s brand presence and positive reputation. Conceiving creative and effective long-term strategies and implementing those strategies in coordination with the Executive Management team is paramount. The Sales Manager will also manage in-store tastings, beer festivals, and paid off-site events.

In addition to possessing an intuitive ability to get customers excited about Silver Branch products, the Sales Manager will be required to manage multiple individuals and sales relationships while formalizing strategies and agendas that help the entire sales operation grow over time. The Sales Manager must understand beer buyers and how they make purchasing decisions. The Sales Manager will work with the Executive Management Team and the Head Brewer to review the 12-month brewing calendar and ensure we are producing the best beers for product-market fit. The Sales Manager is expected to attend weekly sales meetings on Fridays and set their own activity agenda to ensure successful long-term growth for Silver Branch Brewing Company.

Shift Leader Bartender Job Description

The Shift Leader Bartender will ensure an excellent guest experience by motivating and leading a team of hospitable and knowledgeable bartenders, servers, and support staff members. Providing the best possible guest experience begins by leading and motivating an excellent front-of-house staff. Elevating the standards for taproom service, beverage knowledge, and floor sales is a key function of the Floor Manager role. The Shift Leader Bartender will work directly with the General Manager to design and execute excellent taproom experiences for our guests every single day.

The Shift Leader Bartender must have strong organizational and administrative skills. Another major function of this position is ensuring that systems are implemented by staff. The Shift Leader Bartender will manage the floor a minimum of 2 times per week, up to 5 times per week and be responsible for assisting with ongoing education, training, and POS management, all while ensuring a clean, sanitary, and organized taproom. The Shift Leader Bartender will also be scheduled as a Server or Bartender when not scheduled as Manager on Duty to meet the full-time requirement of the position. This role reports to the General Manager.

Support Job Description

This position requires individuals to be capable of completing various tasks in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail with little direction. The Support position has multiple roles to assume, and one day can be scheduled as a Host and the other day as a Food Runner. Core responsibilities include and are not limited to; running drink and food orders, pre-bussing tables, refilling waters, sweeping, organizing the beer cooler, fulfilling online orders, polishing silverware, seating guests, and doing whatever is necessary to maintain the flow of service.

In the Food Runner role, the Support is primarily responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. The Support is expected to listen to learn where the food needs to go and will also communicate with the customers whether it’s checking on their satisfaction or taking an impromptu request. It is this person who will maintain the cleanliness of the expo line, organization of order tickets, and communicate effectively with Kitchen team. The Support will also be responsible for the initial expediting of carryout and catering orders.

In the Host role, the Support is responsible for welcoming customers to Silver Branch and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. Their duties include maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service, passing out menus and accepting phone calls. The Support leads guests to their tables, manages reservations and communicates with Taproom staff about when they have a new party in their section. The Support will clear tables, organize silverware, assess if menus are reusable and toss menus that are dirty, ripped, inaccurate, etc.

Floor Manager Job Description

The Floor Manager will work directly with the GM in seeing through the strategic direction of the Silver Branch Brewing Warrenton Station taproom, beer-to-go counter, kitchen, and events space. The Floor Manager will report to the General Manager.

The Lead Brewer will work closely with the Director of Brewing Operations to ensure that Silver Branch Biergarten & Lagerhaus is a high-functioning, quality-first production operation. You will help to organize and implement all facets of beer production and packaging and to assist with organization for taproom service and wholesale distribution. You will continue to elevate Silver Branch’s standards of organization and cleanliness. You will foster a culture of efficiency while ensuring output of high-quality beer. As a Lead Brewer, you will identify and execute various tasks needed to move the brewery forward in an efficient and flexible manner. As demand for Silver Branch beer grows in coming months and years, you will work closely with the Director of Brewing Operations to increase production without sacrificing quality.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Brewer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has 3 or more years professional experience on a brewery production floor, enjoys working in a fast-paced but controlled environment and is capable of following recipes and instructions accurately. A successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for brewing, a deep understanding of the brewing process, and dedication to quality.
