Kitchen Manager Job Description

As Kitchen Manager at Silver Branch, you will have a variety of responsibilities in different facets of kitchen operations, menu execution, and product management. You will contribute to delivering world-class pizza to our guests and make Silver Branch a premier brewery and taproom in the DMV and beyond. Ensuring timely delivery of pizza to our guests, training pizza kitchen staff, and overseeing the total quality of pizza coming out of our kitchen, is key to being successful as the Kitchen Manager. The Kitchen Manager will work directly with the Food and Beverage Director, General Manager, and Executive Management Team to execute various tasks needed to move the pizza kitchen forward in a successful manner. Through your leadership and example, you will continue to elevate standards of organization and cleanliness for the pizza kitchen at Silver Branch. Support Job Description

This position requires individuals to be capable of completing various tasks in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail with little direction. Core responsibilities of the Support position includes but is not limited to; running drink and food orders, bussing and pre-bussing tables, refilling waters, sweeping, organizing the beer cooler, fulfilling online orders, polishing silverware and glassware, welcoming guests, and doing whatever is necessary to maintain the flow of service.

The Support is primarily responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. The Support is expected to listen to learn where the food needs to go and will also communicate with the customers whether it’s checking on their satisfaction or taking an impromptu request. The Support will also be responsible for the initial expediting of carryout and catering orders.

The Support is also responsible for welcoming customers to Silver Branch and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. Their duties include passing out menus to patrons not using the QR code for ordering and accepting phone calls. The Support will clear tables, organize silverware, assess if menus are reusable and toss menus that are dirty, ripped, inaccurate, etc.

The Support may be scheduled as barback and will help clear dishes of food and stack them neatly in bus tub, run glassware through dishwasher, polish glassware and put glassware away. As barback, when dishes are done, expectations are to jump into other support roles as needed.
