Silver Branch Brewing Company currently operates three unique taprooms united by our passion for global beer culture and Gemütlichkeit—a sense of warmth and camaraderie that lifts spirits and provides a welcoming atmosphere.

We’re looking for a full-time Social Media Specialist who can own daily storytelling across three Instagram feeds, three Facebook pages, one combined TikTok, and one combined Twitter/X handle—elevating us to best-in-class status alongside top East Coast breweries.

Social Media Specialist Job Description

The Social Media Specialist will support the marketing team in developing and implementing outreach and promotional campaigns that boost engagement and increase revenue. The Social Media Specialist will work closely with our Art Director to keep visuals tight, sync with our Digital Marketing Manager on e-commerce and email promotions and collaborate with on-site Taproom Managers who will help capture Stories/TikTok’s during live events. This position reports to our COO.

Social Media Specialist Key Responsibilities

• Content creation & scheduling 12 IG feed posts, 12 FB posts + events, 3 TikTok/Reels, and 5 tweets per week
• Stories & live coverage, 10+ IG stories
• Analytics & Reporting, perform weekly exports and gather monthly insights
• Track social media engagement and identify high-performing ideas and concepts
• Community management, respond to comments and DMs within 24 hours across all social media channels
• Asset management, organize and manage asset libraries on share drive and Canva
• Collaborate, communicate and provide freelancer-like briefs to management to demonstrate your ability to keep projects consistently on brand and deliver outcomes that meet Silver Branch expectations
• Plan and adhere to the monthly and weekly social media calendar
• Create and edit short-form video content
• Schedule and facilitate photo/video content shoots with owners, employees, etc. using Google Calendar scheduler
• Perform other duties as assigned

Social Media Specialist Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media trends and current best practices
• 2+ years social content for hospitality, or for food &/or beverage consumer package goods
• Impeccable oral and written communication skills with a copywriting voice that’s witty, concise and consistent
• Skilled in DSLR & phone video, Adobe, or mobile application suite
• Mastery of the major social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok editing, and Twitter/X
• Must be a Cicerone® Certified Beer Server (or earn within 90 days), prefer a Certified Cicerone® or in progress
• Must have evening/weekend availability
• Must hold a current driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle
• Strong knowledge of and experience using content management systems (such as Hootsuite and Loomly), graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Create Suit) and image/video editing software
• Bachelor’s degree in digital communications or related field such as advertising or Journalism preferred.
• Goal-oriented with ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity, critical thinking, good judgment, sense of urgency and honesty
• Experience with Meta Ads Manager & TikTok Promote desired
• Familiarity with Shopify or WordPress is helpful
• Basic motion graphics skills preferred

Social Media Specialist Physical Requirements

• Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant on a slick uneven surface
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
• Available to work a variety of hours including weekends
